Transforming our crafts into someone's memory

Crafts 4 Friends
"Made with Little Hands & Big Hearts"

We started Crafts4Friends as a way to send artwork that our boys, Braddock, age 2 1/2 yrs, and Beckham, age 16 months, made to family and friends. Our hope is that when the artwork is received it will brighten someone's day or encourage them in the midst of whatever they are facing. We use our family prayer list and pick a few people each time we do crafts and pray for them specifically. Braddock has some of the sweetest and most genuine short prayers. Beckham is quickly catching on and shouts "Amen" at the end. Then we are able to package up the artwork and send them out. Usually it is a 2-3 day process; making a craft, letting it set or dry, clean up (this is where I come in), get the envelopes ready and then mail them out. We do crafts generally throughout the week. Most of the time the boys pick whether they want to color, paint, play with stickers, etc. Sometimes we look up crafts together for specific holidays or events and go from there.

This blog was set up to track our artwork, share craft ideas, and encourage other little artist to join our network of Craft 4 Friends to reach more people.
